||Oh, Baby!||

Mrs. Pierce has been my teacher since freshman year of high school, although back then she was Ms. Featherstone to us. Through out life we have many teachers, some are more memorable than others, either for being extremely weird or funny but some are genuine and just over all awesome and she happens to be one of them. Mrs. Pierce is the English teacher that everyone loves and tries so hard to get into her class and I was fortunate enough to get her for my last year. I remember when she announced her pregnancy to our class at the beginning of the year through playing a game of Hang Man on the board and being THRILLED when we found out. Not only is she kind, but she's hilarious and some how just knows how to relate to high school students with ease. After meeting her husband yesterday for the shoot I have no doubt in my mind that they will be great parents! Though you won't be here for our final days of school I think I can speak on behalf of the English class when I say you will be missed but it's worth it because we CAN'T WAIT to see your beautiful baby (whether it's a boy or girl).
P.S. Isn't she just the most beautiful pregnant woman you have ever seen?

||The Artist in You||

Everyone should have an outlet. Wether that's fixing a car, washing dishes, painting, singing or something else. Do what's fun or makes you feel excited about life because our days can often become routine and "normal". Don't forget take a break and just enjoy the days we are given here on earth, it's worth it.

||Music||

Its amazing how much of a game changer music is. This morning I woke up feeling sort of bitter but as I finally got to a place where I could relax for a bit and just listen to some good music my whole mood changed. I've always wondered how someone could not be effected by a certain song. When you listen to songs it's like getting to know a stranger purely through one experience they had in a song they wrote. It's pretty encredible the way we can relate to each other with out even having a conversation. Just goes to show how insanely smart and thoughtful our God is.

||C.K.||

This is Connor Kelsey. He's a young man who I've known since middle school who has so much potential in life. He's going to Oregon State on a full football scholarship which is amazing and is super smart and talented. Not only is he a great athlete and student he also is an over all genuine person. His goofy sense of humor and kindness is something I'm really going to miss next year. Connor I know your going to make it to the big leagues and I hope your future is full of adventures and opportunities. Keep doing what your doing my friend!

||Things to Look Forward to||

One of my best friends Natalie Hipple is getting married in 15 days and it's blowing my mind. I am honored and so excited to be one of her bridesmaids and watching her obidience to God's plan has been a privilege. This new chapter in her life is already incredible and I can't wait to see what other amazing things she does with her future husband David.

||Timing||

I've been doing track and field every spring and have practice after school every day. For some reason I always get this random boost of energy at this time of the day. Of course when it comes time to practice which is at 3:15 I all of the sudden, get exhausted and don't feel like doing anything. Bodies and time are wierd like that.

||Lovely||

After a shoot one day the sky was just so beautiful and lovely I had to steal a few photos. All I wanted to do when I was photographing was jump into these cotton candy clouds. How inviting do those fluffy bits in the sky look?

||NYC||

This past week has been a week of many firsts. Although I have been to New York in the past, I don't count it because I was too young and my memories of it consists of watching the last episode of "friends" in a hotel room with my family and that's about it. Anyways, back to the many firsts. This is the first time I've traveled in a group with friends on a plane. The first time I've ever been to Ground Zero, the Brooklyn bridge and the beautiful Central Park. My first but certainly not last, Broadway show, which was Motown the musical and happens to be the most amazing musical I've seen thus far in my life. The first time I've had street food from a vendor (which I vow to never eat again because my stomach made me promise). Also the first time I've been on a plane with James Franco. But I decided that I'm going to do everything I can not to get star struck because they are just like us and as my sister reminded me they will get old too one day. New York City is exactly like it's portrayed in the movies. The loud honking, fast pace, good food, tall buildings and high energy that only goes up at night time. NYC truly is the city that never sleeps and although it's hard to get use to the first couple of nights, it sort grows on you the longer you stay. A trip of firsts has indeed been a good one. Unforgettable in so many ways these past few days have been and so many memories as well as adventures will stay with me forever. More than anything if you've never been to New York I encourage you to go and experience it. There's nothing like seeing street dancers, musicians and everything else that makes it so unique. I never understood what the big deal was about the Big Apple until this week.If your ever thinking of going do so, I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

||E.W.||

Emily and I have known each other since the middle school days but only started getting close around sophomore year of high school. Emily is one of those friends that is perfect for mellow days of just eating and watching scary movies. She's trust worthy and dependable and a quite spirit yet she also loves night adventures and is up for anything. This girl is the definition of a loyal friend and when she loves someone or something, she loves it well. High school has been unforgettable and she played a huge part in that. Thanks Em for those movie marathons and for eating ice cream with me on Valentine's day. Looking forward to seeing what the future holds for this strawberry blond beauty.
