There's something truly special about photographing proposals. Being there in that unforgettable, magical, romantic moment. This one happened to be hilarious as well because not only was I there sneaking around but five other dear friends were disguised with go pros and additional cameras!

||Lessons In Life||

Hey guys it's been a while since, I've updated you on my life! I'm back in the city (SF) and have been working on getting settled in. God's been teaching me SO incredibly much in this season of transition.

The biggest theme of my life recently has been P A T I E N C E. I have to admit it hasn't been fun or easy and it definitely wasn't my first choice in "things to work on in myself" but it’s been much needed.

Isn't it funny how that works sometimes? We ask God to teach us to be more like Him and once He does our (or at least my) first reaction is to want to take it back. To ask the Lord to work on any other area then the one He chooses.

The verse that has been keeping me sane throughout this time is Romans 8:27 "He knows us far better than we know ourselves". Wow isn't that comforting? That amidst chaos and confusion we don't have to worry because the Father knows what's good for us even when we don't. Happy Monday everyone!

||The Ivarsons||

Wedding days! It is such an honor for me to be able to photograph them, everyone's dressed up and excited to celebrate two people who have decided to become one. And everyone's story is different, I love that!

Kristin and Ian have been together for six years and this stunning couple finally made it official this past weekend. Everything from the little details, to the location and both the bride and groom came together perfectly!

I can't wait to see these two grow as husband and wife and see where they end up!

Kirsten and Evan are engaged! I've been photographing Kirsten's sister and her girls for a few years now and it was so fun getting to know the rest of the family!
