||Welcome Baby Delaney||

Did you know that squats and lunges are not only good for you, but also get babies to stop crying? This is something the Pierce family knows very well and it's all thanks to their first little one, Delaney. During my first shoot with Justin and Kelly it's pretty amazing to think they were still just the two of them and now they are PARENTS!

Little baby D did SO well for her first close up. Sure she cried a little but at only two months old I could not have asked for anything better. She is such a precious little girl and I know she's going to receive nothing but the utmost care and love from the best English and funniest elementary school teachers out there!

So excited to watch Delaney grow!

||Sweeter Than Sweet||

The Fiore Palms, what a name am I right? Besides the fact of having an intriguing last name this family is so much fun to be around and pretty much the dream for any photographer. Lots of times family shoots can end sort of chaotic with crying babies or unhappy kids but with these guys the whole time was nothing but smiles and laughter!

Enjoy fun moments with your family and cherish the sweet, care free days of summer which is soon ending!

||Feeling Ignited||

As summer is slowly coming to an end, there seems to be a lot of "lasts" heading my way. One "last" that I encountered this weekend was high school summer camp. Though it may have been the final one the Lord for sure knew how to end it with a bang.

Summer camps have been one of my favorite blessings the Lord has given me. To be able to get away from the responsibilities of life and spend three days worshiping, growing and being encouraged by fellow believers is nothing short of a gift. One thing God challenged me to do before I went was to leave my phone at home and for a photographer that's not always easy. But the funny thing is, on the way home the last thing I wanted was to have to check social media and respond to emails.

For the first time in a while I really had no distraction from the outside world and I can confidently say the Lord blessed that and revealed himself to me in such new ways. Another thing that I learned  with that was God is MORE than sufficient and all He wants is for us to be present in the day He's given us and sometimes, wait no, almost ALL the time we give more attention to a tiny screen than what's before us.

I'm incredibly thankful for fun, losing my voice after the first night and the freedom of being silly even though technically I'm now considered an adult. It's not often we get to play capture the flag with a huge smelly fish or even be around all the people we love for three whole days.

My heart is full and excited for this next chapter in my life because after this weekend I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that my one and only TRUE love in the world is Jesus Christ.

The Happiest of Mondays!
