||S.R.||

Stacey and I have known each other since the middle school days. She is one of the quite ones who is dedicated and extremely smart. I have never had anything bad to say about this beautiful girl and that says a lot about a person's character and maturity. If there's something I know I need to work on in my life it's trying to be nicer and more respectful to those around me but Stacey already has those qualities which will get her very far in life. We need more people like you Stacey and I wish you nothing but the best for your future!

||A Reminder||

GUYS, tonight I was reminded of the the BEST news ever. Jesus Christ loves me and treasures me with every fiber of His being and that is enough. I am a christian and that means I am cleansed and forgiven by the Creator of the universe, God. I think one of my favorite things about the Lord is He uses people to encourage us and run this race we call life, with endurance and the help of others. God knew we couldn't do this on our own and therefor gave us friends and families and I am so thankful for that. Why God loves me despite all my faults I won't ever understand but what I do know is I find complete fulfillment and satisfaction in Him. I trust God with everything in me and can't imagine my life with out His unfailing grace and new mercies every morning. I am blessed. I am beyond blessed.

||Prom||

Prom is a tradition that has been going on for years and one that I am very fond of. I absolutely love dancing, especially when it's with good company. The fact that I just attended my last one EVER hasn't really hit me yet but I'm not too worried because I know it's not the end. Which brings me to another conclusion, people have been asking me if I'm sad or happy to graduate and of course my answer is happy and I thought that everyone felt the same. Apparently that is the rare answer going around and when I heard that, I was quite baffled at first. I was confused as to why people were sad to be leaving high school and weren't excited to actually start their lives. Then it hit me, for lots of people this is the high light of their lives (which is sort of hard for me to believe). Don't get me wrong it's been an amazing and fun ride but frankly I can't see my self staying one more day after graduation. I'm at that point in my life where I'm ready to experience new things, meet new people, do stuff I haven't done. So for all of you out there that are really bummed to be graduating, remember that there is a world waiting to be discovered. Carpinteria is beautiful and the "ideal" place to live but there's so much more culture and food and other adventures to experience that could not be found here. Homecoming, rallies, football games, prom all these things were fun but if we had the option to do them for the rest of our lives they wouldn't be special. I'll end with this quote from one of my best friends Joanna who says "if you think about it, prom is weird."

||Mya||

Watching kids grow up is a crazy part of life. It's hard to believe I was taking pictures of this little girl when she was about two years old and now she's turning FIVE! Seriously where does the times go? Here's to enjoying youth and feeling like a princess in pretty dresses and tiaras!

||N.P.||

Nicole Pepper, gosh where do I even begin? You know those friends that are hilarious, smart, kind and beautiful? That's Nicole for you but she's even more than that. I first met Nicole in fifth grade, she was the shy quite one and I was the new girl who just moved to the states but she was welcoming and some how we hit it off and became friends. Ever since then we've grown closer every year. Nicole is one of those people who you can have the most sarcastic conversation with for ten minutes and at the end just go back to what you were doing as if nothing happened. She's the friend that helps out and is considerate of others even when no one else is. She listens to people that ramble on and laughs at the jokes that aren't funny out of respect and the pure kindness of her heart. She's reliable and dependable and everything else a wonderful person can be. Did I mention she's also incredibly smart and going to UCLA for college next year? Yep this girl can do it all and I can't wait to see the amazing things she does to change the world one day. I love you Nicole Pepper, and I know we'll be friends for a VERY long time.

||Momma & Her Girls||

So Marrietta's sister Ashley is in my grade at school and Ashley is the reason we got to know each other. I first took Marrietta's maternity photos which was super fun and once she had her baby she of course wanted pictures of both of her girls. I was THRILLED when I was asked to photograph them because I love Marrietta's sense of fashion and color coordination. I was not disappointed when she came with her adorable new baby who had on the cutest head band and her second daughter who was also super precious in her simple outfit! Some photo shoots really inspire me and this one happened to be one of them. For some reason when colors and lighting just look so good together it makes me happy. Of course their adorable and beautiful faces played a huge part in that as well. Marrietta you make shooting so fun for me, it's been a pleasure photographing you and your beautiful girls thank you for inspiring me again!
